7 Things to do This Week 8/8-8/12/2016
Summer isn't over until we say it's over! There's so many fun activities for you, your friends, and family can do! Check out what's happening this week.
8/8, Indoor Go-Karts – Go-Karting at K1 Speed in Ontario from 12p.m. to 10p.m. Check online for pricing and specials. Indoor go-karting could become a serious sport one day for its high speed electric karts and professionally designed go-kart tracks. Rest assured that safety and control are a high priority at this need-for-speed establishment, so get ready to have the time of your life.
8/9, Kiddie Rides – Ferris Wheel, Tubs of Fun, Mini Jet Commander Ride and more at Boomers in Upland from 10a.m. to 10p.m. Each ride is $8-$10, but check online for special promotions. Minimum age for riders is three and height minimums are required for each ride. Little ones want to get in on the adventure too! Throw on some sunscreen, and spend the day at this mini amusement park for kids and families.

8/10, Line Dancing – Wednesday Night Country Line Dancing at Wyatt’s at the Big Bear Convention Center from 4p.m. to 10p.m. Line dancing lessons are free. Wyatt’s is known as a happening place in Big Bear, because of its country flair and ranch style food. Eat well, and dance your heart out halfway through the week!
8/11, Water Science - See the Smithsonian exhibit that's currently at the Western Science Center in Hemet, "H2O Today." Special exhibit is included in your regular admission. Museum open Thursday-Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5p.m.
8/11, Indoor Rock Climbing – Rock Climbing at Hangar 18 in Riverside from 10a.m. to 10p.m. All day intro packages are $25 for children and $30 for adults. Climbers of all ages and skill levels are able to have a great time climbing over 12,000 square feet of climbing walls, as well as a massive freestanding boulder at this huge climbing gym. Be brave, and you might decide that this is your favorite new sport.
8/12, Ziplining – Speed Run at Skull Canyon Zipline in Corona at 10:30a.m. or 11:30a.m. Be sure to book online 12 hours in advance while spots last, or call (951) 471-0999. Price is $40. Weight requirement is between 100 and 250 pounds. This ziplining adventure consists of a short hike, followed by one side by side zipline with 1,700 feet of cable! Get ready to see the Inland Empire from a perspective you’ve never had, at a speed you’ve likely never reached before hovering above ground.
8/12, Bowling - After Party Fridays at the Brunswick Zone Upland Lanes from 8p.m. to 1a.m. Enjoy unlimited bowling every Friday night for $10.89 per person after 8p.m. (Shoes not included). Perfect night out to start the weekend off!
