4/14, Toddler Story Time – Toddler Time in The Brodie Room at Upland Public Library at 11a.m. Children between the ages of two and three will have a blast while they enjoy stories, songs, fingerplays, flannel boards and puppets! This quick 20-minute play date is an energetic way to start off your day.

4/14, Read to a Dog – Read to Sassy in the Young Readers’ Room at A.K Smiley Public Library in Redlands at 4p.m. Children can improve upon their reading skills by reading to Sassy, who is a therapy dog that visits this library. After all, they say dogs are a child’s best friend.

4/15, Math Help – High School and College Math Help in Study Room #242 at the Corona Public Library from 2:30p.m. to 4:30p.m. No appointment required. Assistance is free of charge. A retired math teacher donates two hours of tutoring high school and college students with everyone’s favorite subject—math! Low grades are not an option with this free help. 

4/15, Bookstore – The Claremont Forum Bookshop in Claremont from 12p.m. to 9p.m. Not only does this bookstore sell gently used books to the public for anywhere from $1 to $5 apiece, they also send hundreds of book every week to prison inmates. Come find your next favorite book for a fraction of the original price.
