Winter has arrived in the Inland Empire.

1/28, Fair – Free Autism Resource and Fun Fair at Chino Youth Museum from 3-5 p.m. Pre registration is required. 

2/4, Run – Russ Miller Memorial 5K Run and Community Walk at the Chino Civic Center. See website for registration fees and times.

1/16-29, Restaurant Week - Claremont Restaurant Week will take place Jan.16-29. Claremont hotels will offer visitors a “dine and stay” experience through its popular Discover Claremont package. The package includes a guest room and $100 in Discover Claremont gift cards, redeemable for hotel dining or at more than 140 Claremont restaurants, boutiques, day spas and entertainment venues. 1/27, Celebration – Taste of the IE 2017 at Double Tree By Hilton Claremont from 6-10 p.m. Presented by Upland Chamber of Commerce. Club lounge atmosphere with music, lighting, dancing, live auction and more. Tickets are $75. See website for details. 

2/10-12, Comedy – The Boobe Sisters from America’s Got Talent at Flappers Comedy Club. Friday 10 p.m., Saturday 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., and Sunday 7 p.m. Tickets $20. See website for additional information. 

3/18, Festival – 5th Annual Claremont Pie Festival and Makers Market and 2nd Annual Car Show at The Claremont Village. See website for details.



2/25, Festival – 3rd Annual Fire and Ice Chili Cook-Off and Craft Beer Festival at the Corona-Norco Family YMCA. More than 25 chili cook-off contestants in 2 categories (Texas and Mexican style), beer tasting from 25 craft breweries, live bands, kids play area and more. See website for details.



1/24, Celebration – Chinese New Year celebration from 4-7 p.m. at Steelworkers’ Auditorium. Free live entertainment, art activities and more. 

1/5-26, Thursdays, Movie – Free Family Movie nights at the Steelworkers’ Auditorium from 6-8 p.m. See website for featuring movies. 



2/27-3/4, Tennis Tournament – BNP Paribas Challenge Tournament at Indian Wells Tennis Garden. Entry fee is $50. See website for details. 

3/20-23, Tennis Tournament – 23rd Annual Senior and Super Senior Team Doubles Tennis Tournament at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden plus 12 other private country clubs and resorts around Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage and La Quinta. Cost is $225 per person. See website for details. 



1/26-29, Festival – 31st Annual Southwest Arts Festival Indio at Empire Polo Club from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Interactive art displays, live music, and more. General admission $12, seniors $10, 4 day pass $15 (includes parking) and kids under 14 admitted free.

1/4-8, Ice Show – Disney On Ice Worlds of Enchantment at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Tickets $15-$90

2/11, Basketball – World Famous The Harlem Globetrotters return to the Citizens Business Bank Arena for two games at 2 and 7 p.m. Tickets $18-$125.

2/25-26, Festival – 21st Annual Palm Desert Greek Festival from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Live Greek bouzouki music, traditional Greek dancing, authentic food, and more. Admission $3, active U.S military, police, firefighters and kids under 12 admitted free.

3/7-8, Celebration – Celtic Faire at Fairplex. Saturday noon-11 p.m. and Sunday noon-6 p.m. Explore the Celtic traditions through music, dance, food, drinks, games and more. Adult admission $10, children (6-12 years) $5 and parking (gate 17) $10. 



1/7, Concert – Wilson Phillips at Lewis Family Playhouse starting at 8 p.m. Wilson Phillips will pay tribute to the legendary groups of their own bloodlines -- The Beach Boys and Mamas & The Papas. Tickets for gold level seating are priced at $60 for general and $58 for senior/youth, all platinum level seating is priced at $65. 

1/8, Entertainment – Stars of Doo-Wop & Rock ‘n Roll at Lewis Family Playhouse starting at 2 p.m. Tickets for gold level seating are $35 for general and $33 for seniors; all platinum level seating are priced at $40. 

1/28-2/12, weekends, Theater – MainStreet Theater Company presents “The Secret Garden” at Lewis Family Playhouse. Jan. 28 (opening night) at 4 p.m., Saturdays at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., and Sundays at 1 p.m. Tickets are priced at $18 for general and $16 for senior/ youth. 3/10-19, weekends, Theater – Broadway at the Gardens presents “Into the Woods” at Lewis Family Playhouse. Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are priced at $30 for general and $28 for senior/youth, all platinum level seating are priced at $35. 



1/10, Arts – Family Coloring Day at La Sierra Library from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Free to the public. 

1/13-15, Theater – The Gestalt Theater Project and New Threads Theater Company present “True West” at The Box at the Fox Entertainment Plaza. Jan.13-14 at 8 p.m., and Jan.14-15 at 2 p.m. Tickets $25.

1/23-27, Craft – Free Make it and Take it at La Sierra Library. Monday- Wednesday 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Thursday 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Make a Chinese New Year child’s craft and take it home. For children only. 

1/28, Festival – Lunar Fest 2017 in Downtown Riverside. Parade of Nations begins at 10 a.m., opening ceremonies at 10:45 a.m., and Traditional Asian entertainment throughout the entire day. Children’s Village with arts and craft. Free to the public. 

1/29, Festival – Festival of Nations at La Sierra University Gym from 4-7 p.m. Live entertainment, food representing 20 countries, games and more. Free admission. 

2/24-25, Theater – Mary Poppins at Fox Performing Arts Center starting at 8 p.m., doors open at 7 p.m. See website for details. 

2/25-26, Festival - The Riverside Dickens Festival on Main Street between University Avenue and 11th Street (in front of City Hall). See website for details.

3/4, Fundraiser – 13 Annual Black Tie Bingo at Victoria Club from 6-10 p.m. Sole fundraiser for community and global service projects.



2/11, Fundraiser – 22nd Annual Chocolate Fantasy to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Redlands . Chocolate and appetizers, auctions, entertainment and more. See website for details. 

3/5, Run – 34th Annual A Run Through Redlands includes 5K, 10K, and ½ marathon race. Kinder Dash for children ages 3-6 begins at 10 a.m. at the Lincoln Shrine Park. Register online before March 2. See website for additional details.

1/27, Celebration – Celebrating Mozart’s birthday with a classical piano concert presented by the students of Yiyi Ku Piano Studio at Temecula Public Library from 4-6 p.m. 

3/3-4, Car Show – Temecula Rod Run famous “Friday Night Cruise” Friday from 5-8 p.m. in Old Town. Music, community vendors, entertainment and more.  “Show and Shine” Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; enjoy classic vehicles and take a peek under the hoods. Free admission.



1/14-15, Air Show – 42nd Annual Air Show at Cable Airport. Aircraft ride opportunities, unlimited kids zone, and more. Gates open at 8 a.m. Free parking. Admission $5-$10, free admission for kids under 5. 

1/21, Festival – Brews and Bros Craft Beer Festival 2017 at Cable Airport starting at 1 p.m. More than 40 local and regional craft breweries, wineries and cider makers in attendance. Food trucks, music, games and more.  See website for details.



2/18-19, Gun Show – Victorville Gun Show at the San Bernardino Fairgrounds. Saturday 9 a.m-5 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is $10.
