Whether or not you're suffering from a case of the sniffles or a lack of fun, getting some vitamin D and heading to one of the Inland Empire events we found can be the cure! Check out the list of events we've found, fron fun for the whole family or a chance to get close to a loved one.

2/6-15, weekends, Theater - “In the Heights” performed by Performance Riverside at Landis Auditorium.  Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., Friday, Saturday and Sunday at  2 p.m. Tickets are $29-50.

2/6, Fundraiser - Swing music and dancing benefitting the Mission Inn Foundation beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $75, couples $140. Dressing in 40’s, military and Polynesian attire encouraged.

2/6, Concert - Badfish at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $18 for the 18 and over event. Check out our interview with Badfish in our recent Amplif[ie]d feature.

2/7, History - “A Celebration of the Civil Rights Movement” at La Sierra University Church at 4 p.m. Features choir performances and appearances from activists, including Terrence Roberts, one of the Little Rock Nine.

2/7, Zumba - Free  family fitness camp Zumba class at Bobby Bonds Sports Complex as part of Fit Riverside from 10 a.m.- noon.

 2/7, Education – “Explore-O-Rama” at Valley Preparatory School from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Three sessions of workshops geared to several age groups. See website for registration and schedule. Free to the public.

 2/7, Pet Walking - Dog walking and cat cuddling featuring adoptable animals from the Redlands Animal Shelter from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Sylvan Park.  

2/7, Bridal Show - Bridal show at Edward Mansion from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Fashion shows, scavenger  hunt, vendors, dresses for sale.  Admission is $5 for two, free parking.

2/7, Fundraiser – Wine and craft beer tasting and silent auction benefitting the Cope Middle School Instrumental Music Program from 3-6 p.m. at Ozel Jewelers. $30 for beer or wine tasting, $40 for both.

2/8, Exhibit - Open House at the Lincoln Memorial Shrine from 1-3 p.m. Reenactors, exhibits, and family fun. Free to the public.

2/8, Exhibit - Second Sunday program featuring Valentines and love letters from the Victorian era at Kimberly Crest from1-4 p.m. 



2/7, Trout Derby - Trout Derby at Glen Helen Regional Park from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. $20 fee per person, $10 parking in regional park.



2/6, Concert - Assorted Jelly Beans at M15 Concert Bar and Grill beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for the all ages event.

2/7, Concert - Jack Russell’s Great White at M15 Concert Bar and Grill beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $22 for the all ages event.


Now through 2/22, Theater - “Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story” at the Candelight Pavilion Dinner Theater Thursdays through Sundays. Tickets are $64-73 evenings, $58-65 for matinees,  children are $30-35. Tickets include meal and show.

 2/7, Comedy - Laurie Kilmartin at Flappers Comedy Club at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20. Get tickets here.

2/7, Exhibit – First Fridays exhibit at the Garner House Exhibition Gallery from 2-5 p.m. featuring a “Love” theme. Free all ages event, live music.

2/7, Walking Tour - Claremont Village historic sites guided walking tour beginning at 10 a.m. in front of the Claremont Depot. Tour takes 2 hours, $5 per person, reservations required.



 2/5-8, Racing – Winternationals at the Auto Club Raceway at the Fairplex. Races start at 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, Tickets start at $38 adults, two-day packages available. Children under 12 free with general admission.

2/6-8, Spa Show - Spa Swimspa show and sales event at the Fairplex Friday from noon-8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Free admission.

2/7-8, Gold Show – Gold and Treasure Show at the Fairplex Expo Hall 6 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Meet prospectors, attend seminars, vendors and door prizes. $10 admission, Children 12 and under are free. Parking $10 at Gate 9.

2/7, Party - Laura Ingalls Wilder Gingerbread Social at the Pomona Public Library beginning at 12:30 p.m. Music, dancing, crafts, snacks, 1870’s dress encouraged.

2/8, Trains - Public run and family day at the Fairplex Garden Railroad from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.


  2/7, 5K - Run for Russ 5K starting at the Chino Civic Center. $30 registration, kids 12 and under $15. Check in starts at 6:45 a.m., race begins at 8 a.m. Race benefits the Russ Miller Memorial Foundation.


  2/5-8, Comedy – Damon Wayans at the Ontario Improv Thursday at 8 p.m., Friday at 7:30 and 9:45 p.m., Saturday at 7 and 9:15 p.m., Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35-45 for the 21 and over show.  

2/6-8, Gymnastics - Gliders Invitational at the Ontario Convention Center. Admission is $15 adults, $10 seniors and military, $8 children. All day pass is $25, weekend is $30.  

2/6 Basketball - The Harlem Globetrotters at Citizens Business Bank Arena at 7 p.m. Tickets are $16-135, parking is $10.  

2/7, Soccer - Ontario Fury vs. Sacramento Surge beginning at 7 p.m. at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Tickets are $10-40, parking is $5 cash.

2/7, Dr. Who - Free family event at Ovitt Family Community Library from 1-3 p.m. celebrating  the “Doctor Who” television series with crafts, games and more.

2/8, Bridal Show - Bridal show at the Ontario Convention Center from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Vendors, fashion shows and more. Tickets are $120, register online for $5 off. Parking is $9 for autos and motorcycles.



2/7-8, Racing - Experience NASCAR racing at the Auto Club Speedway. Packages include a lesson and laps on the track in the car beginning at $169.

2/7-8, Racing - Solo 2 autocross competition at the Auto Club Speedway organized by the California Sports Car Club. See website for more details.

2/7, Theater – “Sondheim on Sondheim” at the Lewis Family Playhouse at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $30, $28 seniors. May not be suitable for all audiences.


2/6-8 ,Softball - 24th annual Palm Springs Winter Classic Softball Tournament at Demuth Park in Palm Springs and Big League Dreams Sports Park in Cathedral City, with finals at Big League Dreams. Games start at 8 a.m. Proceeds benefit the Palm Springs AIDS Assistance Program.

2/6-7, Concert - The Gand Band performs hits by The Beatles at The Purple Room at 9 p.m. p.m. Tickets are $10, dinner service starts at 8:30 p.m.

2/8, Museum - Free Second Sundays at the Palm Springs Art Museum. Free events for the family from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., admission and activities free.



2/7, Snowboarding – USASA banked slalom at Snow Summit from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. See for registration.



2/5-22, Theater - “The Addams Family” at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater. Thursday, Friday, Saturday at7:30 p.m., Sundays at  2 p.m. Tickets are $15-25, Thursday seniors, student, teacher and uniformed military $10.Mature subject matter.

2/6, Exhibition - Sylvia Greenfield gallery at the Gallery at the Merc from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

2/7, Science - Science Saturday at the Western Science Center featuring engineering from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Free activities for whole family, museum entry requires an additional fee.
