We have some great Inland Empire weekend events here that are sure to bring some sunshine into your life like the Riverside Insect Fair held by the UCR Department of Entomology at the Riverside Metropolitan Museum.

4/17, Concert - Live and Local Friday at Lake Alice beginning at 9 p.m. Admission is $6.

4/17, Concert - Green Today at Romano's Concert Lounge at 10:30 p.m. Admission is $10.

4/17, Dance – Black and White dance at the Dale Senior Center from 6-9 p.m. $10 admission.

4/17, Fundraiser – A Night for Veterans fundraiser at Canyon Crest Country Club from 6-10 p.m. Dinners, cigars, entertainment and silent auction. Tickets are $100.

4/17-19, Theater - “The Nerd” performed by Gold Leaf Theatre Productions at the Riverside Women/s Club Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. Tickets are $14 at the door.

4/18, Parade– 10th annual Salute to Veteran’s Parade begins at 10 a.m. at Riverside Community College to the Old Historic Courthouse. Free parking downtown.

4/18, Pow Wow - 30th annual Inter-Tribal POWWOW at Sherman Indian High School’s Ira Hayes Football Stadium from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Grand entry at noon, free to the public.

4/18, Insect Fair - Riverside Insect Fair at the Riverside Metropolitan Museum from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. UCR Department of Entomology hosts, free to the public.

4/18, Minecraft – Minecraft for kids from 10 a.m.-noon for ages 4-11 every other Saturday starting April 18th at the Eastside Library.

4/18, Festival - 3rd annual Tamale Festival from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at White Park.   Storytime, vendors, live entertainment and more. $1 admission, under 12 free.



4/17, Movie - Into the Woods showing at Ed Hales Park from 6-9 p.m. Free admission.

4/17, Festival - Lunafest short film festival at Esri. Tickets are $35, event benefits the Breast Cancer Fund.

4/19, Concert - Southern California Childrens Choir Organization concert choir and ensemble groups performs at Trinity Episcopal Church from 4-5:30 p.m.

4/19, Handmade Market - Little Brown Bag is back at the Mitten Building. Great collection of local artisans with handmade items. Some of our favorites will be there like Martin & Co. 11-3:30 p.m.



4/17, Concert - California Street Music Festival featuring Slow Children at M15 Concert Bar and Grill at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door for the all-ages event.

4/17, Ballroom Dance - Corona Senior Citizens Center hosts A night in Paris Spring Ballroom Dance. $5-$8. YOu must be 50 years of age to attend.

4/18, Beer Festival - Taste of Brews is back in Corona with over 40+ breweries, live entertainment, food vendors and more. Get 10% off your tickets with this link.

4/18, Fundraiser -  Fundraising workout at Crossfit Proper to support the hosting of Special Olympians from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. $25 fee includes a commemorative tee shirt.

4/18, Festival - Corona-Norco Day of the Child celebration at City Park from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Free admission, resources, childrens activities and entertainment. Food available for purchase.

4/17-18, Trains - Rail Festival and Steam Weekend at the Orange Empire Railway Museum. Ride a steam engine from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.Admission is $15 for ages 12 and up, $10 for ages 5-11 and under 5 are free.



4/18-19, Avocado Festival - Since the 1960s, tens of thousands of avocado lovers converge in Fallbrook, located in San Diego's North County Inland to sample avocados, check out the crazy cooking contest entries, buy funky avocado-themed gifts and enjoy bands, live entertainment and friendly beer gardens. Free to public.
