There are so many great ways to celebrate, enjoy nature, and enjoy delicious and beautiful things this weekend in the Inland Empire. Here are some of the events we picked out, but there's so much more in our Events Calendar. Check it out and get ready for a wonderful weekend.

Now thru 5/16, Exhibit - “The Provoke Era” Japanese photography exhibit at UCR ARTSblock Culver Center for the Arts Tuesdays through Saturdays 12-5 p.m. $3 general admission, free for seniors, members and children under 12.

Now thru 7/18, Exhibit - “Interrogating Manzanar: Photography, Justice and the Japanese American Internment” at the California Museum of Photography Tuesday through Saturday 12-5 p.m. Admission is $3 general, free for seniors, members and children under 12. 

5/1-3, Car Show – Show and Go Car Show for Charity in downtown Riverside Friday from 6-10 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Vendors, entertainment and more, see website for details, free admission.

5/1-3, Theater - “The Sound of Music” performed at The Box in the Fox Entertainment Plaza Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at  2 p.m. Sing-along versions Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 7 p.m. General admission $25, children under 12 is $16.

5/1, Crafting – Crafty Happy Hour with Mothership Scrapbook Girl from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Packinghouse Brewing Co. Cost is $5-10 per project, theme is ‘World’s Best Mom’.

5/2, Craft Beer Walk - Head to Canyon Crest Towne Ceter for a Craft Beer Walk with over 25 businesses participating. 4-8 PM

5/2, Duck Daze - From 10-2 p.m. head to the Hidden Valley Wildlife Nature Center and enjoy the 13th Annual Duck Daze with petting zoo, crafts, face painting and more. $4/person. kids 2 and under, plus parking is free

5/2, Art - Art Make event featuring Riverside Ballet Arts, BRAVA WORKS program and students from Platt College at Riverside Ballet Arts/ Platt College from 1-5 p.m. Art in Riverside discussion, cut-and-paste project and dance performances.

5/2, Hip Hop - 909 Hip Hop Dance Troupe presents Ultimate Brawl XV: Battle of Distinction at the Fox Performing Arts Theatre at 7 p.m.  Tickets are $20, see website for dance lineup.

5/2, Composting - Check out a free backyard composting workshop at the Stratton Community Center. Free!

5/3, Family Event - First Sundays at the Riverside Art Museum from 1-4 p.m. 2 p.m. Children can help create a paper fruit tree and stamp art using fruit.  Storytime features “La Mariposa” and storyteller Karen Rae Kraut.

5/3, Community Printmaking - Participate in constructing a community piece while making prints to also take home, happening at the Villegas Park



Now through  5/10, weekends, Theater - “Esther” performed at the Lifehouse Theater Friday at 7:30 p.m. , Saturdays at 2:15 and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:15 p.m. Admission is $14-18 for adults, $7-9 for children 3-11.

5/1-17, weekends, Circus - 75th season of the Great All-American Youth Circus at the Redlands Family YMCA Fridays at 7 p.m., Saturdays at 5 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets are $15a adults, children 12 and under $10, under 3 free if they sit on parents lap.

5/1, Tasting - Vintage Redlands wine tasting event through downtown Redlands from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $78, ticket color designated starting place on walking tour. Event raises funds for the Citrograph Scholarship Fund.

5/1, Concert - "Many Voices, Muchas Voces: Celebrating the flavors of Mexico" organized by the Redlands Community Music Association and the Quality of Life Dept. at 6 p.m. on the corner of Brockton and Lombard streets. Ana Gonzalez and Los Tremendous del Sur perform.
5/2, Art Festival - Red Dirt Art Festival at Smiley Park from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.  Free admission, vendors and art for sale.

5/2, Bookstore - Independent Bookstore Day Celebration and Sale at the Frugal Frigate from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Local author Diana Adams reading, store-wide discount.

5/2, Festival – 62nd annual Holland Festival at Redlands Christian Schools from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Dance, performances, game booths and vendors.

5/2, Party - Seeds celebrates three years of business with a visit from Anna & Elsa, crafts and more from 12-5 p.m.

5/2, Run – Family Fitness Fun 5K and expo at the Burrage Mansion. Expo is 8 a.m.-12 p.m., run check in at7, race starts at 8 a.m. Expo and 5 are $35, expo only is $10, family $100. Student discounts available.

5/3, Festival – Slow Food Redlands Spring Harvest Festival at Grove School from 12-6 p.m. Free family event includes education on gardening and nutrition, kids activities, entertainment and more.

5/3, Cinco de Mayo – Cinco de Mayo celebration at Renaissance Banquet Hall from 4-9 p.m. Tacos, aguas frescas and micheladas special, live music and food from Street Tacos.   



5/1-3, Festival - 4th annual Yucaipa Music & Arts Festival fro 1st St. to Bryant St. in Yucaipa Blvd. Friday from 6-10 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and Sunday 12-7 p.m. Free admittance, vendors, entertainment, carnival tickets $14 presale, $25 days off, wrist band $30/35 day of.



5/1, Festival - 4th Annual Multicultural Festival, FREE to the public with arts & crafts, entertainment, games and more

5/1, Latin American Opera - CSUSB Opera Theatre presents the Latin American opera compsed by Robert Xavier Rodriguez, La Curandera. Tickets $10-$17 at the CSUSB Performing Arts Recital Hall 

5/3, Glen Helen Raceyway - Yamaha Spring Series Round #1 starts tomorrow. Check out the details



 5/1-2, Quilt Show – Inland Empire Quilters Guild “Country Fair Quilt Show at Nellie Weaver Hall at Ingalls Park Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Quilts, vendors, sewing needs and more, $7 admission.

5/2-3, Craft Fair - Craft fair at Hillside Farm from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.



 5/1, Concert -80’s All-Stars Neon Nights at M15 Concert Bar and Grill. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $15 for the all-ages show. 

 5/2, Parade and Fiesta - 44th Annual Corona Cinco de Mayo Parade and Fiesta beginning at 10 a.m. with the parade starting at Sixth and Merrill and ends at Corona City Park. Fiesta at the park until 5 p.m.

5/2, Home Tour - Vintage Home Tour presented by the Corona Historical Preservation Society from 1-4 p.m. Four locations on tour, day of event tickets are $20, available at 1052 East Grand Blvd.

5/2, Concert - M15 Concert Bar and Grill’s local band Festapalooza. Doors open at 6 p.m., tickets are $10 for the all-ages show.

5/2, Opera - Riverside Lyric Opera performs “H.M.S. Pinafore” at the Historic Civic Center Theater at 7 p.m.  Tickets are $50 VIP, $25 general, $20 senior and $10 for children under 12.



5/2-3, Air Show – Planes of Fame Airshow at the Chino Airport. Gates open at 8 a.m., show from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. General admission $25 for single day, children under 12 free.



5/1-2, Comedy - Michael Rayner at Flapper’s Comedy Club Friday at 10 p.m. and Saturday at 7 and 9 p.m. Tickets are $20.

5/1, Art Walk - First Friday Art Walk through Claremont Village from 6-9 p.m. showcasing art galleries and exhibitions. Free to the public.

5/2, Zombie Run - Dead Garden Run at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden. Be chased by zombies throughout course, children’s course does not feature zombie actors. Grounds open at 7 a.m., course closes at noon, grounds close at 3 p.m. Registration is $45 pre-registration, $55 day of event.

5/2, Adoption Event – Dog, cat and rabbit adoptions at Claremont Mazda Volkswagen from 12-3 p.m. Music and refreshments.

5/2, Book Sale - Book Lover’s Sale at the Claremont Library from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friends of Claremont Library get 10% off, cash, check and credit card accepted.

5/2, Run - Bubble Run at the Fairplex beginning at 9 a.m. Early bird registration $20 ends on May 1. Registration May 1 and 2 $50, kids under 6 run free with paid adult. Parking is $10 at Gate 17.

5/2, Expo – DeafNation Expo 2015 at the Fairplex, Expo Hall 7. Trade show for and put on by deal community. Parking is $10 at Gate 17, free admission to event.

5/3, Expo – Nancy McCracken Learning Expo from 1-4 p.m. at the Fairplex, Expo Hall 6. Free family event features educational activities and student projects. Parking at Gate 17.  

5/3, Festival – Sanchocho Latin Music and Dance Festival held at the Fairplex on Birch St. and Plaza de las Americas from 12-10 p.m. Presale tickets are $15, children under 13 admitted free. Parking $10 at Gate 17.

5/3, Fundraiser - Southern California Tasting & Auction at Cal Poly Pomona’s Rose Garden from 1-4 p.m. Includes beer and wine tasting, live auction benefitting Cal Poly Pomona programs. Tickets are $60.


5/2, Fiesta - Cinco de Maya Fiesta at Dale Bros Brewery from 12-10 p.m. Live music from Claremont Voodoo Society and La Chispa, special beers and food. $10 admission includes souvenir glass and First pour, portion of proceeds benefit Trinity Youth Services.

5/1-3, Comedy – Shang at the Ontario Improv Friday at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m., Saturday at 7 and 9 p.m. and Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $18 for the 18 and over show, two-item minimum and dress code apply.

 5/2-3, Gun Show - Crossroads Gun Show at the Ontario Convention Center Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $14.

5/3, Show – 8th Annual Bullyshow at Guasti Regional Park. Gates are open 8 a.m.-6 p.m., includes, low riders, bikes and weight pull with Oliver Dela Cruz. $10 park fee, $20 per person, $30 ring-side booth. Live entertainment.


5/1-3, Drag Racing -  Pacific Street Car Association’s Spring Shootout at the Auto Club Dragway. Races Saturday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. Spectator passes $20 for single day or $40 for weekend, see site for drivers and crew admission.   

5/1, Car Show  – First Friday of the month car show at the Civic Center Campus. Cars to be considered for show must come at 5 p.m., see site for regulations.

5/2-6/7, Theater – Tibbie’s Center Stage Fontana presents “Hooray for Hollywood” Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Show only tickets are $18, dinner and show are $39-59 adults, $29.95 children. See website for menu.

5/2-3, Racing - Speed Ventures Autocross and racing at the Auto Club Speedway. Cost for race drivers is $195 a day, spectators, drivers and crew $10 admission. Autocross is $75 a day, $10 admission for crew, drivers and spectators.

 5/2-3, Racing – Solo 2 autocross practice event presented by the California Sports Car Club. See website for details.



5/1, Country Music - Head to Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill for a free show by Smith

5/2-3, Ballet – Inland Pacific Ballet performs “Beauty and The Beast” at the Lewis Family Playhouse Saturday at 1 and 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. Tickets are $36 general, seniors are $33 and youth $24. Preferred seating $44.

5/2, Fundraiser – Monte Carlo Casino Night to support the Rancho Cucamonga Community and Arts Foundation at the Lewis Family Playhouse from 7 p.m.- 12 a.m. $80 ticket includes dinner, two drink tickets and $100 in casino money.


5/2, Youth Leadership Conference - "Postiive Images" Kick Back is a community event held by Rialto Community Coalition and the Inland Valley Drug Free Community Coalition 10-2pm. Register for free and get entered for raffle to win 2 iPads.



5/2, Walk – Walk MS: Big Bear 2015 t the Alpine Pedal Path. 1K or 5K routes available, registration begins at 8:30 a.m., opening ceremonies 10 a.m. See website for details.

5/2, Concert - Fundraiser concert for 2015 Special Olympics hosting featuring Skynyrd Reloaded at The Cave at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $16-31.

5/2, Beer Festival - Brew at the Zoo at The Living Desert from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Beers, food and entertainment. At the door tickets are $45 member, $55 non-members, designated driver ticket $35.

 5/2, Festival - Moon Block presents Desert Daze music festival at Sunset Ranch Oasis in Mecca. General admission is $55, camping available.

5/2-3, Event - “Weekend with the King” Elvis celebration  event at The Alexander Estate. Music, home tours, Sunday brunch. Saturday tours $30, Concert $45, combo ticket $60. Sunday brunch and concert $60, concert only $45, brunch only $45.



5/3, Truck Show - Antique Truck Show at the Orange Empire Railway Museum from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission include hundreds of restored trucks, entertainment and vendors. Admission 12 and up $7, 5-11 $5. All-day ride admission including show is $12 and $8.


5/1, Chili Cook-Off - The W.A.V.E.S Project Chili Cook Off Fundraiser at Europa Village Winery at 5:30 p.m. Tasting tickets $10, proceeds benefit veteran scuba program.   

5/2-3, Concert – Southwest Women’s Chorus “American Signs” performance at the Community Recreation Center Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $18,$15 for seniors and military and $11 student.
5/2, Science - Science Saturday event “The Science of Sleuthing” at the Western Science Center from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Free family activity event, admission cost applies to enter museum.

5/3, Car Show - Corvette Car Show at the Promenade Temecula from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in parking lot A4 next to Lucielle’s Barbecue.
