7/31, Concert - Easy Star All-Stars with The Debonaires at Romano’s Concert Lounge at 10 p.m. Tickets for the 21 and over show are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.

7/31-8/1, Theater - New Threads Theatre presents “Oleanna” at The Box at Fox Entertainment Plaza Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m. Tickets are $20.

8/1, Festival - Downtown Riverside Summer Street Jam from 4-9:30 p.m. on University Ave. between Orange and Lemon streets. Free admission to the all-ages event.

8/1, Pin-Ups - Pin Ups for Vets show as part of American Legion 79’s 95th anniversary party begins at 5 p.m. Entrance fee $20.
8/1, Workshop - Printmaking workshop as part of Free Summer Saturdays at the Riverside Art Museum from 12-3 p.m.

8/2, Concert - Common Vision Tour 2015 with Every Time I Try at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium at 5 p.m. Tickets are $20.



Thru 9/1, Photo Contest - About Redlands Photography Contest is offering cash prizes. All photos must meet guidelines, including being shot within city limits. See website for details.

Thru 8/22, Theater Festival - Redlands Theater Festival begins with “Lucky Stiff, “Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story” and “Vanya at Prospect Park. Tickets are 21, group and season passes available, see website for details. Curtain at 8:30 p.m. 

Thru 8/9, Classic Disney Story - “Sleeping Beauty” at LifeHouse Theater Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2:15 and 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:15 p.m. Tickets start at $14 for adults, $7 for children 3-11.

Thru 8/7, Summer Fun - Summer Camp and drop –in activities at the San Bernardino County Museum are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. See website for additional information.

7/31, Concert - “The Singing Cinema” at the Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival beginning at 8:15 p.m. Free admission.

7/31 , Party - The Find Waldo in Redlands prize party begins at 10 a.m. at The Frugal Frigate.



Now through 8/1, Theater - Junior University presents “The Jungle Book” at Perris Hill Park at 8:15 p.m., Saturday at 8 p.m. General admission is $10, children under 12 $5, family group of 2 adult and kids under 18 $20.

7/31, Concert - The Atomic Punks, Van Halen tribute band performs at M15 Concert Bar and Grill. Tickets are $5, doors open at 7 p.m. for the all-ages event.

8/1, Concert - Saliva at M15 Concert Bar and Grill. Tickets are $22, doors open at 7 p.m. for the all-ages event.

8/1, Car Show - Cool Runnin’ Camaro Club’s 5th annual All Camaro Show at Saleen from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Food trucks, drawings and more. Free entry to CRC members, registration fee is $25 day of event.

8/2, Concert - Rockabilly Reunion concert at M15 Concert Bar and Grill. Doors open at 2p.m. for the all-ages event, see venue for ticket prices.


7/31, Concert - Battle of the Bands at Carnegie Cultural Center beginning at 6 p.m. Free admission.

8/1, Car Show - Gatos SoCal Summer Rockabilly Car Show at Historic Cable Airport 1749 beginning at 9 a.m. Car show, vendors, entertainment, pin up contest and more. Tickets are $10 per person over 12 years old.   

8/1, Party - Celebrate Jerry Garcia’s birthday at Dale Bros. Brewery from 12-9 p.m. Free tie-dye station from 2-8 p.m., live music beginning at 5 p.m., food and beer.



Now through 8/2, Butterflies - Closing weekend for the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden’s butterfly pavilion. Admission is $2 in addition to garden entrance fees of $4-8, pavilion open 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday beginning at 1 p.m. families are invited to help release butterflies.



8/1-2, Festival - HARD Summer Music Festival  at the Fairplex’s Building 4. Tickets are $79-119, see website for lineup and details.

8/1, Concert - HARD Summer After Party at the Fox Theater Pomona beginning at 11 p.m. Tickets are $30-50.

8/1, Concert - Assuming We Survive with The New Varity and more at The Glass House. Tickets are $12-15, doors open at 6 p.m. for the all-ages concert.

7/30-8/2, Comedy - Guy Torry at the Improv Comedy Club Thursday at 8 p.m., Friday at 7:30 and 9:45 p.m., Saturday at 7 and 9:15 p.m. and Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $17.

8/1-2, Gun Show - Crossroads of the West gun show at the Ontario Convention Center Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets are $14, kids 12 and under are free with parent.

8/1, WWE - WWE Live Summerslam Heatwave Tour at Citizens Business Bank Arena at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $30-100, parking is $10 cash.

8/1, Comedy – Laughfest family comedy featuring Jason Love at the Ontario Improv Comedy Club at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 for the 13 and over event.

8/2, Soccer - Open tryouts and youth clinics for the Ontario Fury indoor soccer team at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Tryouts from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. for ages 18 and over, $50 fee. Youth clinics from 12-2 p.m. and 2-4 p.m., ages 4-16, $20 fee.



Thru 8/2, Mel Brooks Musical – “The Producers” at Sandra R. Courtney Community Theatre Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Admission is $15, students are $12 with ID. 



Thru 8/2, Shooting Event - Bass Pro Shops holds its NRA Freedom Days for the next two weeks. This weekend, three free seminars are held beginning at 11 a.m.  Event includes a free kids shooting range and workshop.

8/1, Kids Event - Victoria Gardens Kidz Club back-to-school event at Victoria Garden’s Chaffey Town Square from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Registered attendees receive a tote bag, participate in crafts and live entertainment. For ages 3-10.   

8/1, Bike Event – Ribbon cutting and community celebration for the Wilson Avenue Extension Project beginning at 9 a.m. at Wilson and East avenues. 10 a.m. community celebration includes bicycle rodeo, repairs, fire truck and more. 

8/1, Open House - The Fab School open house from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Vendors, In-N-Out and entertainment, guests can tour the metal fabrication and welding school campus.

Now through 8/2, Theater – “Breaking Up Is Hard To Do” at Tibbie’s Center Stage Fontana Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at  2 p.m. Dinner theater seating and show-only available, see site for details and reservations. 

8/1, Test & Tune - Open Test & Tune event at the Auto Club Dragway. Tickets and tech open at 8 a.m., racing started at 9 a.m. Cars/drivers are $50, crew is $10, spectator is $10.

8/1, Drag Racing - NHRA Drags: Street-Legal Style at the Auto Club Dragway. Gates open at 8 a.m., racing at 9 a.m. Cars/drivers are $20, spectator is $10.


8/1, Festival - Noble Creek Music Festival at Noble Creek Park Ball Field #1 from 6-10 p.m. Food vendors, beer and wine for sale. Free entry, parking is $5.

8/1, Pets - Low cost vaccinations, licensing and microchip services from 9-11 at the Beaumont Civic Center.


8/2, Concert - Diane Pancel in “The Ladies of Song” at the Arthur Newman Theater at the Joslyn Center at 2 p.m. Tickets are $11 cash.



Now through 8/2, Cycling - Big Bear Cycling Festival concludes this weekend with the Tour de Big Bear rides Big Bear Cycling Expo and more. See website for details.  

8/1-16, weekends, Renaissance Faire – Big Bear Renaissance Fair at Pederson’s Mill from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Single day admission I $15 for adults, $12 for ages 6-12, seniors, military and students. 5 and under free. Weekend and season passes available.

8/1, Ice Cream – Ice Cream Safari at the Big Bear Alpine Zoo from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Five ice cream stations throughout zoo. Cost is zoo admission $9-12 plus $5 for ice cream.


8/1-12-5, monthly, Storytime – Storytime Saturdays at the Temecula Valley Museum at 1 p.m. Stories relate to exhibits or local heritage, check site for schedule. 

8/1, Brew Festival - I-15 Brew Festival at Galway Downs from 6-10 p.m. Craft beer breweries, live entertainment and more. General admission (beginning at 7 p.m.) $50, includes tastes and commemorative glass. VIP admission begins at 6 p.m. for $70.

8/2, Yoga - Yoga class at the GrapeSeed Spa from 9-10 a.m. Class is $12, complimentary to spa members. Bring your own yoga mat.
