5/12, ongoing, Live Music - Come to Honky Tonk Friday each week from 4 to 11 p.m. at Wyatt’s Saloon & Café. Check out the website for schedule of bands.

5/13, Migratory Bird Day - Enjoy the International Migratory Bird Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Big Bear Discovery Center. Bird walks, birdhouse buildings, crafts, and more. Free.

5/13, Queen Tribute Band - Queen Nation plays a tribute to the music of the legendary rock band, Queen, at The Cave. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., opening act is at 7:30 p.m., and the headline band goes on stage at 9 p.m. Tickets start at $15.

5/13, Story Time - Bring the young ones to story time from 12:30 to 1p.m. at the Big Bear Discovery Center. Snacks included. Free.

5/14, Mother’s Day Brunch - Celebrate Mom at a special Mother’s Day Sunday brunch or dinner at Skypark at Santa’s Village. Champagne brunch runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the Spring dinner menu is from 4 to 9 p.m. Park admission is free.

5/14, Canning Class - Attend a Mother’s Day Canning Class from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at The Copper Q. Learn to make organic strawberry-orange marmalade. Space is limited, and reservations are recommended. Admission is $70 per person.




5/13, Stand-Up Comedy - Keep Mom smiling this weekend with a special Mother’s Day Show featuring comedienne Gayla Johnson  at 7 p.m. at The Legacy Room. Tickets are $15.

5/13, Successful Career Workshop - “Get Your Future in Focus” runs from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Chaffey College Chino Community Center. This program is designed for teens, adults, educators, and parents. Workshop includes continental breakfast, valuable resources, workbook, and certificate of participation. Admission is $25.

5/14, Mother’s Day Brunch - Treat Mom and the family to a special Mother’s Day brunch at the residence of Bill and Kelly Schlegel, Chino Hills. The event is sponsored by Catholic Charities of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. Cost is $50 per person; 13 and younger are $15; under 3 is free. Seating times are 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.



5/12, ongoing, Unique Art - Visit the city’s Art Mart from 5 to 9 p.m. every Friday at the Claremont Packing House. Free. 

5/12, Free Garden Admission - In honor of National Public Gardens Day, Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden is offering free garden admission for all from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Last entry is at 4:30 p.m.

5/14, ongoing, Open Market - There’s some great finds at Claremont Farmers and Artisans Market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays on Second Street between Indian Hill Boulevard and Yale Ave. Free.

5/14, Bubbles & Brunch - Stop inside vomFASS Claremont and enjoy free tastings of sparkling wine cocktails made with premiere sparkling wine and liqueurs, plus tasty brunch bites. 1-3 p.m. Complimentary event

Thru 10/27, Claremont Friday Nights Live! - Free concerts are held at the Village Square Public Plaza (by Laemmle 5 Theatres), in front of the Claremont Chamber, 205 Yale Avenue and at City Hall Plaza, Second St west of Harvard Ave. 



5/13, City Tour - Take part in the Circle City’s Grand Tour of history, heritage, and architecture from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning at Corona Heritage Park. Pre-sale tickets are $15 and increase $20 on the day of the show. Limited tickets available. 

Thru 5/13, Pet Adoption - Celebrate the Mother’s Day Pet Adoption event through Saturday at the City of Corona Animal Shelter. All available dogs and cats are $20 and includes spay/neuter. Normal license and microchip fees apply.

5/13, Open Marketplace - Corona Certified Farmer’s Market held at the Main St. Marketplace from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Free.

5/13, Car Show - Cars and Coffee meet up every Saturday from 7-9 a.m. at Saleen Automotive. Free admission.

5/13-14, Mother’s Day Brunch - Celebrate Mom at a special brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at TAPS Fish House & Brewery that includes champagne, mimosas, handcrafted ales seafood, breakfast favorites, and more. Reservations required.

5/14, Mother’s Day Brunch - Enjoy a Mother’s Day Brunch at the Eagle Glen Golf Club. Seating is at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Adults start at $34.80, children 3-11 start at $17.79. Reservations required.

5/14, Mother’s Day Buffet - Honor Mom at Citrus City Grille with its Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet from 9 am. To 3 p.m. Adults are $39.95, and children under 12 are $13.95.



5/13-14, Car Racing - Drive an exotic car or ride along with one with Exotics Racing at the Auto Club Speedway. See website for details.



5/14, Mother’s Day Brunch - Reserve your spot for the Mother’s Day Brunch from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Shandin Hills Golf Club. Adults are $21.99; children 4-12 are $15.99, and 3 and under are free.



5/13, Star Wars Day - Celebrate The Force with crafts, games, and entertainment for the entire family from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Ovitt Family Community Library. Limited giveaways to the first 100 guests. Free.

5/13, Comic Con Revolution - This inaugural event kicks off at 10 a.m., and 9:30 a.m. for advance ticket holders. The show floor will be packed with artists, writers, art, cosplay, toys, games, and more. The guest list is long too. Don’t forget to enter the Cosplay Revolution Contest. Tickets are $27.50 for adults, $16.50 for children 13-17, and 12 and under are free with a paid adult ticket.

5/14, Mother’s Day Brunch - Celebrate Mom with a live music and champagne brunch at 10 a.m., noon, or 2 p.m.  at the Ontario Convention Center. Adults are $41, and children 12 and under are $21.

5/14, Kevin Smith on Stage - Enjoy “An Evening with Kevin Smith” at 7 p.m. at Ontario Improv. Tickets are $30. Seats are first come, first serve; two-item minimum required.



5/13, Jazz Concert - The Depot After Dark smooth jazz concert, featuring Conspire and Saxuet, is from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Perris Valley Historical Museum. Admission is $10. Seating is limited.



5/12-13, Collectibles Show - The West Coast Historical Militaria Collectibles Show is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Fairplex in Pomona. Tickets are $8 for adults, and $3 for children. Two-day entry tickets are $10. Parking is $10.

5/13, Live Music - War of Ages performs at 4:30 p.m. at The Glass House. Other guests include My Epic, Hands, A Please for Purging, and more. Doors open at 3 p.m. Tickets are $22.  

5/13, Beautification Day - Join your neighbors across the city for the 11th Annual Pomona Beautification day from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. beginning at City Hall. Check out the website for additional information.

5/13, Pomona Art Walk - Visit Metro Gallery and other art venues from 4 to 9 p.m. in the Downtown Arts Colony. Free.

5/13-14, Mother’s Day Feast - Mother’s Day brunch and dinner at Pomona Valley Mining Co. Saturday brunch from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday brunch and brunch from 9:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. Reservations encouraged.



5/13, Yoga Class - Enjoy Yoga at the Winery 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Joseph Fillippi Winery & Vineyards. Admission is $20.



5/14, Mother’s Day Picnic - Mother’s Day is the theme of the Second Sunday program this month at the Kimberly Crest House and Garden. Bring your family to picnic on the lawn between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. There will also be an exhibit on Helen Cheney Kimberly. Docent-guided tours of Kimberly Crest begin at 1 p.m. Tickets are $5 for mothers, $10 for other adults, $8 for seniors and students, and $5 for children 12 and younger. No cost to picnic or view the exhibit.

Thru 5/21, Youth Circus - The All-American Youth Circus’ “A Moment in Wunderland” continues this weekend at the Redlands Family YMCA. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Friday, 5 p.m. Saturday, and 3 p.m. Sunday. Adults are $15, and children 3-12 are $10. Under 3 is free if sitting on adult’s lap.



5/13, Salsa Festival - Bring your taste buds to the Inland Empire Salsa Festive from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at White Park. Activities include live entertainment, kid zone, and a beer and wine garden. Free chips and salsa sampling until 1 p.m. or while supplies last. Tickets are $15 for 13 and older; $5 for children 6 to 12 years old; and 5 and under are free.

5/14, Mother’s Day Breakfast - Bring the family to a special Mother’s Day Breakfast from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Heroes Restaurant & Brewery. Enjoy an omelet bar, waffle station, and more. Reservations required for parties of 15 or more.

5/14, Champagne Brunch - Treat Mom to a champagne brunch from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa. Buffet includes traditional favorites and yummy desserts. Adults are $64, and children 6-12 are $29.

5/14, Bruch Buffet - Treat Mom to a special Mother’s Day champagne brunch featuring live Spanish guitar music from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Café Sevilla. Adults are $39.50 and includes a glass of champagne or sangria. Children under 10 are $19.50.



5/13, Walking Tour - Experience Old Town Temecula in a new way every Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. at the Temecula Valley Museum. The 1 ½-hour tour is $5 per person.

5/13-14, Mother’s Day Feast - Celebrate Mother’s Day at Annata Bistro/Bar with lunch and dinner specials all weekend from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

5/14, Mother’s Day Brunch - Treat Mom to a delicious Mother’s Day champagne brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the South Coast Winery Resort & Spa. Adults are $65, and children are $22.
